Iridescent Shades (2026)

Iridescent Shades is a work for chamber winds. This colorful 5-movement work was written to be inspired by and in collaboration with the creation of artwork by Jade Davis. The work was commissioned and written for Michael Parker. Iridescent Shades premiered in April 2026 by a chamber ensemble conducted by Michael Parker.
Prelude (2025)

Prelude is a work for orchestra. This dark and brooding fanfare was composed for the Michigan State University Symphony Orchestra as part of the Sam and Mary Austin New Fanfares Project. The work was premiered in September 2025 by the Michigan State University Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Daniel Jaggars. ​
Motherless Child (2025)

Motherless Child is a setting for wind band of the traditional spiritual by the same name. This work comes from second movement of Spiritual Symphony. The work was premiered as a part of the full symphony in March 2025 by the Michigan State University Wind Symphony conducted by the composer. 
Spiritual Symphony (2025)

Spiritual Symphony is a collection of settings of African American spirituals for wind band. Together, this compilation synthesizes into a large work that engages with symphonic form. The work was premiered by the Michigan State University Wind Symphony conducted by the composer in March 2025.

This work was named the winner of the 2025 National Band Association William D. Revelli Memorial Composition Contest.
Serenade (2024)

Serenade is a new work for trumpet and band. The work follows a theme and variations form similar in nature to the classic flashy "Carnival of Venice" type solos. All with a lighthearted and quirky character with fun zany bits for the band. The work was premiered by the Cass Middle School Honor Band at the Georgia Music Educators Association Conference with soloist Michael Brown in January 2025.
Kingdom (2024)

Kingdom is a work for wind band. This universal fanfare celebrates the natural features of our world as well as the communities of which we develop and reside. The work was premiered by the Los Gatos High School Band and conducted by Ken Nakamoto in December 2024. 
Buzz Buzz (2022)

Buzz Buzz is a work for flute, trumpet, and piano. The work was commissioned by the Elucidate Duo. The work characterizes the flute and trumpet as dueling insect soloists in a race to the end. Composed in May 2022, the work was selected for the International Trumpet Guild Conference New Works Call for Scores and was given a premiere at the International Trumpet Guild Conference in June 2023 by the Elucidate Duo.
Furaha (2023)

Furaha is a work for youth orchestra. The work was commissioned by the Decatur (IL) Youth Symphony Orchestra. The title and theme of the work is derived from the Swahili language meaning "joy" or "happiness". The work was premiered by the Decatur Youth Symphony Orchestra and conducted by the composer in April 2023.
Mettle Monologues (2023)

Mettle Monologues is a work for solo euphonium. This work was commissioned by a consortium led by Jessica Payne. The work is composed in two movements: "...end of my rope..." and "When I woke up...". Mettle Monologues is inspired by Payne's personal battles with medical issues inhibiting their ability to play. The work portrays her pain, struggle, and eventual recovery. Mettle Monologues received its premiere in March 2023 performed by Payne.

The Magician (2022)

The Magician is a work for tuba and euphonium quartet. The work is inspired by the music of Tigran Hamasyan densely packed with numerous rhythmic "tricks" and virtuosic solo riffs. This work was commissioned by Dr. Gail Robertson and the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) Tuba Euphonium Krewe. The work was premiered at UCA by students of the UCA tuba and euphonium studio in Conway, Arkansas in October 2022. 
I Remember You (2022)

I Remember You is a work for small chamber ensemble featuring clarinet, violin, cello, and piano. The work is motivated by the idea of memory loss from the perspective of a dementia patient. This work was commissioned by the Cross Country Chamber Consortium and premiered by the SOLI Chamber Ensemble in San Antonio, Texas in September 2022.

Scrapin' (2021)

Scrapin' is a work for wind band. This original work for band is influenced by hip hop music and captures the scenario of one having an argument with someone else. This scenario is played out early in the work with an aleatoric section. This section works as a device to introduce a rather advanced concept to younger players in a more simplistic way while also allowing opportunity for performer creativity. This work was commissioned by consortium and for the Wildwood Middle/High School Band in Wildwood, FL. Composed in December 2021, the work was premiered by the Johns Hill Magnet School Band in Decatur, IL and conducted by the composer in April 2022.

Deep River is a work for wind band. The work sets the traditional spiritual of the same name for advanced band. This version features several instruments with solos, including the piano. The work also highlights the saxophone section turning the spiritual into a soulful and virtuosic display of jubilance. This work was premiered by  the University of Georgia Wind Ensemble and conducted by Dr. Jaclyn Hartenberger in November 2021. Deep River  has since seen several performances by other major collegiate ensembles, and at events such as the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic as well as state music education conferences.

In 2025, this work was included in Spiritual Symphony, serving as the third movement.

EveRytHinG is fiNe (2021)

Listen... is a work for euphonium, tuba, and electronic track. This powerful work was composed in response to the outcry of Black Lives Matter protests across the United States after the death of George Floyd. The work was commissioned by a large consortium led by Jason Casanova with support by Bernard Flythe and Carol Jantsch. The work was premiered by Jason Casanova and Bernard Flythe at the International Tuba and Euphonium Association's Virtual Conference in May 2021.

REM, originally written for alto saxophone, has now also been transcribed for trumpet. With this new version comes an update with added music (also now in the saxophone version) and also includes extended use of the cup mute to providing multiple timbres throughout the piece. REM for Trumpet was premiered by Daniel Lehmann at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in October 2020. This version was commissioned by Brandon Dicks. ​

"Stutter Step" was commissioned by Patrick Geren. This work was premiered in June 2020 by Jason Casanova at the International Euphonium Tuba Festival. This work was selected as repertoire for the 2021 Leonard Falcone International Euphonium and Tuba Festival Solo Competition. "Stutter Step" was also featured on the repertoire list for the International Tuba and Euphonium Association's 2021 Virtual Conference Solo Competition and the 2022 International Women's Brass Conference Susan Slaughter Solo Competition.
